My books definitely lean more to the cat end of things, but I am sure there are a few dog books here somewhere.
Finally read Travels with Charley for this prompt. I really enjoyed it. I had forgotten how good Steinbeck is with language

I think I have that one around here somewhere. Too bad I didn't locate it last month.

I did not get to any of the three books I had planned to read, but I did finish three books that are at least somewhat dog-related.
The Wife Upstairs - The protagonist starts off the story as a dog-walker in a posh neighborhood, and a few of the dogs matter to the plot. This is a Jane Eyre re-telling, and I liked it better than I expected to, but I didn't love it.
Clean Sweep Dramatized Adaptation - This paranormal adventure features a little dog named Beast who is much more than she appears. I had a fun time with this.
The Hound of Death - This collection is not dog-themed, but it has "Hound" in the title, so I'm counting it.
