I'm looking forward to this book. Hayley and Harper are going to be a great couple. She is perky and outgoing, and he is quiet and deep. Should be fun.
I finished it!! I loved Hayley & Harper!! David was my favorite side character!! Now on to the JD Robb group’s BOTM!!
I’m not understanding something in this book and i was hoping someone would give their insights. I’m a little bit more than galway through the book and i’m in the part where Hayley sees Harper and Dory (his ex girlfriend from college) kiss. I am really not understanding if she saw a kiss on the lips or on the cheek and it makes a pretty big difference in the situation. If someone could clarify what they understood happened because english is not my first language but i’m reading the book in english so maybe i’m just not understanding this part as well because of the words i don’t know

It wasn’t a romantic kiss on the lips — it was a friendly gesture, more of a quick social/friends kiss. But you know how romance books go. The characters can't have a conversation. They fly to the wrong conclusions.

A Harper has always lived at Harper House, the centuries-old mansion just outside of Memphis. And for as long as anyone alive remembers, the ghostly Harper Bride has walked the halls, singing lullabies at night…
Hayley Phillips came to Memphis hoping for a new start, for herself and her unborn child. She wasn’t looking for a handout from her distant cousin Roz, just a job at her thriving In the Garden nursery. What she found was a home surrounded by beauty and the best friends she’s ever had—including Roz’s son Harper. To Hayley’s chagrin, she has begun to dream about Harper—as much more than a friend…
If Hayley gives in to her desire, she’s afraid the foundation she’s built with Harper will come tumbling down. And that wouldn’t be the only consequence, since her dreams are tangled up with Roz and the nursery. Hayley will have to put the past behind her to know her own heart again—and to decide whether she’s willing to risk it…
