I am excited to read August selection of The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Post your thoughts and comments on this selection. It is a short read...of 288 pages for the paperback.

I picked this book up from the library yesterday. I look forward to beginning reading this novel. Enjoy Reading, La Tonya 📚

I started on mine. I tried the audiobook years ago but I don’t do well with them and never finished. So far I can see her poetic descriptions of the life of a realistic protagonist.

Finished this yesterday and am glad i finally got to this as it's been on my shelf for a long time. I did a review if you're interested in my thoughts but will wait to post here until later in the month. I doubt anyone doesn't know the plot but....

I am about half way from being finished with this novel. It is a very good read. I enjoy reading the prose. It makes you think for clarity.

I’ve finished the book. I wasn’t sure about it at the beginning but the more I got into it I found her poetry woven in.
