Many historical sites are said to be haunted. Some well known creepy historical sites include
Edinburgh Castle, Scotland, Catacombs of Paris, France, and Agrasen Ki Baoli stepwell , New Delhi India. Each of these sites are said to have ghostly sounds that haunt the grounds.
Read a book that is set at least 50 percent in Scotland, France, or India

I've had this book on my shelf for quite a while so I'm hoping it qualifies for this task and a Big Book ticket? :D

Yes, this will work. Since I have read it, I know that the book alternates between France and Germany, with France more than likely 1/2 of the book-Approved

As long as the setting is 50% set in one of the countries, it works. I have not read the book, so I cannot give you a firm ok. But, it sounds as though it is in France to me. I will approve it, based on your honest judgment when you read it.
