I've read the S&B trilogy and SoC duology
while I enjoyed the latter, I really couldn't get into S&B :(
would you recommend king of scars for me then (I did like Nikolai and this focuses on him, right?)

i would personally say that you should read it
the focus in this book is nikolai and zoya
plus the crows appear in the duology 🤭 (i lwk dont remember which book though sorry)

Yes! Especially if you liked SoC a bit more than S&B. I too couldn’t really get into S&B because the moment I read SoC I knew it was over haha. KoS and its duo really feel like the best of both worlds especially because something always happens in each chapter, you’ll never be left hungry.
