I'll have to say this really makes you think! While it isn't something I would normally read/reach for, it held my interest from the start!
I am almost done. This is wild. It is amazing how a potentially good idea can be so icky. I would not want to live in that place. The soft colors alone would make me crazy over time. But, no men? I mean, yes, men are evil historically, and I have met my share of men that I would happily feed to the lions, but being around only women would make me antsy. Also, living on a space shuttle, and "raising" your kid from afar? That lady is a piece of work.
So, given the choice between going "inside" vs trying to live on the dying Earth, which would you choose?
I think, if I knew what was actually happening on the inside, I would probably opt to stay outside. I think. Although, safety and getting fed is an attractive proposition when the world is going to shit.
Yep! I agree.
Jacqueline is a piece of work! I don't know how she doesn't see that what she is doing is the same thing she is trying to eradicate! And, the whole kid thing - did she ever really do anything to raise her??
I do like living indoors and eating on a regular basis, which I would get from the "inside" but I'm not sure that I could stand it! It sounded like a great idea but it feel way short of what was "promised!"

I didn't realize there was a sequel! Yep, I will but not this week! Maybe it will fit into Book Quest next month!
