I finished Pack Up the Moon by Kristan Higgins and while it was a decent read, it wasn't as poignant as I was expecting from the blurb.

Book: Biting the Moon by Martha Grimes

Interesting, if not unrealistic, story of one girl’s quest for revenge and answers, with a new friend who is willing to accompany her along the way. Have to admire her determination, but the amount of things the pair accomplished with so little problem begs much in the way of a different reality. It was sometimes stretched a great deal. The story was interesting, seemed more geared to young adults, but still a fun diversion.

- 4 stars on Goodreads.
This sort of fell between 3/4 stars to be honest, but since Goodreads doesn’t allow for half stars, I bumped it up to 4. This was an interesting enough read, with a somewhat unique storyline. I say somewhat because there were definitely some well-use tropes thrown in there. I liked it well enough to read the second book, but probably not enough for it to have a permanent spot on my shelves. I’ll decide on that once I’ve read book 2.
