GROUP READ Our October theme is Superstition, and our group read for this month is Weyward by Emilia Hart, a historical fantasy set across multiple centuries, which tells the tale of resilient women who find strength in their connection to the natural world.
CHALLENGES We’re excited to introduce new monthly challenges for October’s theme of Superstition and we will also begin our final quarterly challenges with the theme of Fear.
Monthly Challenges From Page to Halloween Parade is an open challenge to find Halloween costume inspiration in your books. Very Superstitious is a prompt-based challenge based on good luck and bad luck beliefs from different cultures.
Quarterly Challenges What’s Your Fear Factor? is an open challenge to read books with covers, themes, or titles that reflect phobias. Here’s to Fears features prompts related to a variety of fearsome phrases.
