I read this in February, but I remember enjoying it, even if it was a smidge predictable. Did anyone else see the ending coming?

I just finished the second one, and I won't give any spoilers, but it was good!

omg you finished it fast! I'm going to finish reading my CRs and then jump into it!

Alicia (pfps with gisella) | 35 comments I read it a few months ago and I think it’s really overhyped and I didn’t really like that much

Emily Rigdon | 33 comments Glad the next one is a BOTM for November, because I really enjoyed this book! It did take a bit to get into, but the atmosphere and magic system were great. I didn't realize there would be so much found family in this. The cliffhanger was evil, btw.

Kali | 3 comments I actually just got the stained pages version of both and they are so pretty

Sarah E B ʚ♡ɞ (saraheb2011) | 26 comments I just read this a week or two ago. And I got to say I enjoy than I expected. Currently waiting for the second book from my local library. It did take me a while to get into it fully. But both the very fine world-building and atmosphere got me involved enough to continue reading. And don't get me started on that cliffhanger of an ending DX

Yeah, I had kind of forgotten that it was a slower start because by the end I was so invested! I hope you like the second one as well! I really liked it!
