James Edmund Dennis | 2 comments Sure, I love my book, but I really loved Joan of Arc by Mark Twain. I just finished it, and it is the most fascinating story I've ever read. No kidding!

Now, enough about the savior of France, let's talk about my book. "The Need For a Little Dog" is a tale (tail) that turns the werewolf trope on its head. Here, a man--kind of a jerk--is bitten by a dog, and it makes him better because, of course, dogs are so cool. But, that is not all, by far! All chaos ensues with Sebastian's (the protagonist) family, his workmates, the local police after Sebastian makes his full transformation.

The story is a mix of fiction and fantasy, with a dollop of humor. Cleveland residents will appreciate the locale.

OK, enough of that. I love books, and please take a gander at my book reviews. Perhaps you will find them useful, and maybe we have some things in common. My love of books extends from history to science fiction and fiction. My favorite fiction writers, right now, are Margaret Atwood and Percival Everett.

Celeste Fenton | 2 comments If you like cozy mysteries with an edge and some romantic suspense, you may want to read Lost Heart in King Manor (Book One in the Mysteries of a Heart series) and Captive Heart at Brantmar Castle (Book Two). The series follows Gabby Heart, a 45-year old with a buried past, that finds herself tangled up in mystery, adventure, and romantic suspense. Lots of humorous dialogue, quirky characters, and cinematic settings.
