Peter Kurten, otherwise known as the vampire of Dusseldorf. Peter Was born in 1883 in Germany, and quickly became known as one of the most grotesque and 'evil' serial killers to exist. He was raised in an abusive home, and from there he had a messed up view of sexual relations, which led him to start bestiality very early in his life. He committed his first human murder at nine. As he got older he would go on to commit every type of crime imaginable, earning the name of 'vampire of Düsseldorf' for drinking the blood out of some of his victims, and getting off on it. He was sentenced to death by guillotine.
Peter committed murder, attempted murder, trespassing, cannibalism, necrophilia, rape, pedophilia, bestiality, stalking, and many other crimes.

He's my all time favorite, and what got me into aspd, he never had a real diagnosis, however its pretty obvious he's on that spectrum somewhere. How someone could stomach doing all that, even with the amount of trauma he survived as a child, would have to warrant some sort of personality disorder. Danielle does a video on him.

I mean do you think everyone who does stuff like this has a mental issue or do you think there are actually people who do this because they literally enjoy it? Genuine question

Ophelia Moon (Eldest Daughter version) | 59 comments Sydney, I think you’re right! It must be something wrong mentally to enjoy doing THAT. Especially as a 9 year old! When I was 9, I was too busy singing “Let it Go” at the top of my lungs every possible moment and playing with Barbies. I can’t imagine a child that young committing murder.

If someone enjoys it, it's more than likely they have a personality disorder. Killing things, especially humans is hard, and requires a certain amount of detachment or lack of empathy. This is why so many people who go to war have ptsd, they feel bad for killing people. If you dont feel bad for killing people, it goes against the average description of humanity, and you typically have some sort of disorder. Most serial killers have aspd, because it's simply too hard for an average person to kill someone and enjoy it enough to do it again.

[ Ollie ] || [ Miserabilia ] | 17 comments I just read a small bit about him from the Britannica page you linked and https://allthatsinteresting.com/peter...

Since they still have his head mummified and displayed in a museum in Wisconsin, I wonder if modern day scientists would be able to learn anything new by it. Or if the mummification and time has damaged it to where it couldn't be looked at.

Truly chilling stories, especially with some of the things he said. i'll definitely check out the video you linked!

Ophelia Moon (Eldest Daughter version) | 59 comments Why would they keep a mummified head of a murderer?🤮
