Are you a seasonal reader? Do you read horror or cozy mysteries in the fall, holiday romance in the winter, or beach reads in the summer? Or are your reading choices based on some other factor? Share how you decide what to read and what you're currently reading!

Jessica Hamilton (jhamlovespeedee) | 2 comments I do pay attention to the seasons and try to incorporate books based on them, but I don't restrict myself to only reading them during a specific season. I tend to go through genre loops and generally read 2-3 genres at once to prevent boredom. Lately, I have been honed in on nonfiction, romance, and spooky season reads. Currently, I am reading Kirsten Miller's The Women of Wild Hill, Lana Ferguson's The Game Changer, and K.A. Linde's The Wren in the Holly Library.

Laura (lauralaylin) | 8 comments I never was in the past, but I'm starting to now. I am finding it's really helping me get into the spirit of the holiday/season. I've also recently gotten into romance, and it's so easy to find books to read that fit the seasons in that genre.

Jessica | 2 comments I usually just read whatever catches my eye which is more based on new books, interesting covers, or recommended by others more so than the season.

I love to read seasonally! Spooky books in October, cozy holiday books in December. In the summer, I like summery beach reads. In between, I just read whatever I feel like picking up.
