What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

Not sure if the correct term is soldier, could be marine - but the premise is that the MMC is back home in a small town USA from deployment. He’s struggling with PTSD and insomnia. I think he meets the FMC at a bar on his first night back. The FMC might be a marine biology student? I remember a scene where they go and release newly hatched turtles. Also a scene where they attend the funeral service for one of the MMC’s marine/soldier friend.
