Welcome to the The Fallen & the Kiss of Dusk Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on November 20th and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

I will be starting this tonight but I probably won't update until tomorrow. I am hoping it is easier to fall back into this installment than it was book 3 for me.

I didn't get time to read the novella so I'm worried if I'll immerse smoothly too but anyhow... let's begin!

The ending was so shocking that I'm hooked already for sure haha

I am a bit behind but working on catching up! through end of chapter 12: I am getting into this a bit slower than expected. There's a lot happening all at once and I'm struggling since I am still reading Alchemised which also has a lot going on. I wasn't expecting them to find each out so quick but are they able to stay together?

through end of chapter 31: I should not be surprised that things are moving quick and things are going sideways for our duo. It'll be super interesting to see how this all ends. It doesn't seem like things will end as neat or clean as they may have hoped originally. I liked the glimpse of Rhain we got but I do feel bad for what Mische ended up having to do (although did she truly? I understand wanting to keep people safe but that may be easier if you tell them what is happening and accept the help they are offering so willingly).

through end of chapter 55: Now that this is the main book I'm reading, it's easier to keep track of everything that is going on. I still feel like somethings are a bit rushed and I don't quite recall certain things that could probably be helpful to remember. I am glad we have Oraya and Raihn again - I feel like they balance Miche out pretty well.

through the end: (view spoiler)[I think I enjoy the end of this installment more than the first duology with Oraya and Raihn. I am not sure how I feel about where the story is overall going as it's hard to keep track of all the gods and who is with who or against who and so on. (hide spoiler)]
