Nikki returns to Annmarie’s apartment and finds a picture in the armoire that wasn’t there previously. It’s a picture of her dead mother in her coffin with a red ribbon. What did all this mean to you in that moment, especially the red ribbon?

I don't think what her mother was wearing for her burial had ever been mentioned. I knew immediately that Frost was related to the family and this was very personal.

That raised a whole lot of questions for me. How did Frost get this picture? Was he at the funeral? etc.

I had a lot of questions too. It was the first time I thought there might be a Frost connection to Nikki's family. I had to force myself to continue reading and not jump ahead. (I do that sometimes, and it makes me crazy. :-) )
