What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I am searching for an illustrated, Halloween children's book that I read to my daughter between 2009 and 2015. It is about monster kids (that look like little lizards) and their parents. They are getting ready for Halloween and walking through the woods where they encounter other monsters celebrating Halloween. There are witches, ghouls, hobgoblins, and many others. I think there may be some rhyming. Towards the end everyone hears something and hides -it's human children dressed as monsters going trick or treating. The monster kids get scared and their parent's tell them something along the lines of "a good scare let's you know you are alive".
