I agree!! I really liked it and I am glad they didn't try to make it a longer series than it needed to be!

Quinty (Taylor's Version) (queenq) | 597 comments Yes I'm glad it didn't drag out. Although I do think the door was left open, with saying the other cards weren't destroyed

Kristina | 37 comments I especially liked that the second book was more about Elm, he was my favorite since book one 😍 And I liked that the author didn’t make it into a 5-book series just for the money 👆

Yeah, I would be okay with a spin-off series type of deal!

Same, I feel like so many authors do that for the pay out and it ruins the series because it goes downhill by the end!

Same! It was a really solid duology and I'm glad the author had a clear vision on the pacing and length of the story!

It's kind of hard to describe without giving it away. However, it is the second in the duology, so make sure you read the first one, One Dark Window, first!

〰️Beth〰️ (x1f4a0bethx1f4a0) | 49 comments I really enjoyed this. Much better than expected. The pacing and world development were well planned out. Definitely a duology i would read again.

Emily Rigdon | 33 comments Such a good duology, I did enjoy the end! Though, while I did love Elm and Ione, I did really miss having Elspeth/Ravyn interactions
