I have The Firm by John Grisham on my TBR for this month. That looks like a good fit here.I also could have picked HIlary Mantel's Bring up the Bodies, since Thomas Cromwell was quite the astute adviser to Henry VIII.
I can fit Varg Veum books for 3 of the prompts for this month, for this prompt I'll read book 2 Din, til døden by Gunnar Staalesen
Thank you for Teaching me a New Vocabulary Word. Love That. I have to see if one of my many books fits that description this month.
I've so enjoyed this challenge (my first year) I've read books out of my comfort zone and genres. Now learning new vocabulary - will have to look and see if I have anything on my TBR.
Thank you.
I read A Pocketful Of Rye, A Miss Marple Mystery.. I would say that Miss Maple is keen and very observant.
I read Murder and the First Lady (Eleanor Roosevelt, #1) by Elliott Roosevelt. Eleanor's keen observations and logic led her to solving the murder of her employee Pamela's paramour.
The Mangle Street Murders by M.R.C. Kasasian. The main character was described as "London's most perspicacious personal detective" in the blurb of a later book.

The definition of perspicacious is, “Keen, astute. Someone with the power to see through and understand what is puzzling or hidden. Quick in judging things accurately. An ability to understand things that are not obvious.”
For this prompt, choose a book that somehow relates to the word perspicacious. This may feature a character who has these qualities, a word in the title that relates to perspicacious (examples: keen, astute, puzzling, hidden), or a puzzling book that brings out your own perspicaciousness.
