November 2025 - Related To The Word "Perspicacious"

The definition of perspicacious is, “Keen, astute. Someone with the power to see through and understand what is puzzling or hidden. Quick in judging things accurately. An ability to understand things that are not obvious.”

For this prompt, choose a book that somehow relates to the word perspicacious. This may feature a character who has these qualities, a word in the title that relates to perspicacious (examples: keen, astute, puzzling, hidden), or a puzzling book that brings out your own perspicaciousness.

Aquaria | 295 comments I have The Firm by John Grisham on my TBR for this month. That looks like a good fit here.

I also could have picked HIlary Mantel's Bring up the Bodies, since Thomas Cromwell was quite the astute adviser to Henry VIII.

Sharan King | 86 comments I've so enjoyed this challenge (my first year) I've read books out of my comfort zone and genres.

Now learning new vocabulary - will have to look and see if I have anything on my TBR.

Thank you.
