As most members rely on libraries, these books are harder to obtain. They are still open to buddy reads and similar group reads.

Hi Sonia, we've read The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet as a group in 2016. Here is a link to the starting thread for that discussion: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
You are welcome to choose a different SF nomination.

– After 24-48 hours, 8 books from each genre will be chosen at random from the selection, using a random generator online (if necessary).
– Each person may nominate a fantasy book AND a sci-fi book, if desired. Only ONE nomination per person. Please include whether your nomination is fantasy or sci fi.
– If books are part of a series, they must be the first, unless the group has already read the previous book(s). You can see our previous group reads (https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...) or click “Bookshelf” from the menu on the right.
– No authors nominating their own works.
– No self-published or ebook-only books — we want our BotM to be accessible to as many members as possible!
– Moderators may use their discretion when accepting nominations. Keep the thread focused. Discussion about changes in rules can go to General Chat.
