Historical Romance Book Club discussion

For the month of January 2026 we will be reading historical romance novels that feature Fairytale Inspired: Includes Beauty & the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Ugly Duckling, etc. themes.

Rules of Nominations:

1. Not more than 2 novel nominations per member.
2. No book we have read as a group read in the last 2 yrs. (Please check the group's Bookshelf)
3. No author we have read in the last one year (see below).

Bookshop Cinderella by Laura Lee Guhrke. First book in Guhrke's latest trilogy.

An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn. This is part of the Bridgerton series, and for me was one of the better books. Cinderella retelling. It's also (I believe) going to be featured in Series 4 of the Netflix series, for those who are watching it. (Coming in late January 2026, so perfect timing).
