Lynn (lynnsreads) | 5137 comments I will use this as a personal reading checklist area. Since joining this group:

Old School - I purchased and started 14 different Old School books without finishing them. This was due to time pressure not a deliberate dropping of the book.

New School - I purchased and started 6 New School books without finishing them. I probably own at least 10 more I never had a chance to start.

**** Looking at the books I was going to read and didn't makes me sad. I feel like I'm getting pushed farther and farther away from what I had meant to do when I joined. Sometimes outside the comfort zone is just uncomfortable.

**** Solipsism is a judgment sometimes thrown around - Instead of solipsism I see creativity, independence, and personal agency.

Lynn (lynnsreads) | 5137 comments I have three motivating themes in reading:

1. More Science fiction
2. More 19th Century Literature
3. More British Authors.

This is just a random number, but I'm thinking about Dozens.

I'm adding an idea using Sara's title
4. Authors Oeuvres

So the themes to focus on for 2026 have a possible 48 books, although there will be some overlap. It will probably be closer to 30 - 35 new books. This seems like enough to think about for the next 14 months.
