I think a good starting point would be books that mix fantasy with something else that you are most familiar with so you don't overwhelm yourself with high fantasy booksSome pretty easy to read ones since I am not English myself are
- The Six of Crows duology and The Shadow and Bone Trilogy both by Leigh Bardugo
- The Remnant Chronicles are nice as far I have read pretty easy world and interesting characters
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber is also a nice place to start relatively slow paced if I remember correctly and an interesting world that doesn't expand way too much
- The Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lyn Tan is also a nice exploration of Chinese mythology with nice writting prose
- Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim is a Mulan inspired story with a competition the mc has to win
That's that at the top of my head if you're looking for something more specific I would love to help don't hesitate to message me!!<3

im just kinda intimidaded by fantasy since the books are really long and has alot of stuff
and im not english but i like to read in english so i would like some light fantasy that could get me more into the genre
