If your TBR could talk, what do you think it would say to right now? (Other than "Read me Seymore!")

I'm the opposite of many of you.My TBR would say, "Add more books - you don't have enough to choose from! We're lonely here."
(I'm currently in a dry spell, although what has saved me is that I'm reading a 700 page long book right now.)
I have 2 kinds of TBR. The Want to Read on GR includes anything that seemed interesting at some point, isn't published yet, was on a Giveaway, etc. The one talking to me is what I called "Owned". I have either the physical book, the ebook or the audiobook. That currently has hundreds. - just checked and it's 611! How can this be when I have given away literally hundreds of physical books since I retired 6 years ago? The pandemic encouraged me to get more ebooks and audiobooks on sale - they don't take up any room, but they are still shouting, "Me! Me! When is it my turn?" One reason I like challenges and games on GR is that they often cause me to pull out something I had forgotten about, because there is a horse on the cover, or whatever, and I find I really enjoy the book.
My TBR would be pretty talkative. However, one thing I am sure I would hear is:So many books, so little time! Really, girl, get a move on, or stop adding books; you are no spring chicken.
My TBR would advise me to start investing in some rejuvenation research or into how to transfer my consciousness into an electronic matrix, otherwise we will never get to the bottom of this long list.
I imagine my TBR forming cliques and groups. All the New York Times Best Sellers forming an exclusive group, trying to put themselves up on a pedestal, the science club and the jocks (sports books). Its interesting to think of the books that can easily move through different social groups. The concerns of overpopulation and those considered old and neglected (years on the TBR) and those heard about but not yet seen (coming soon books on TBR) Can you tell I'm bored working this Arts and Craft festival this weekend?
I have a ridiculously large tbr and my books fight and claw to get to the top of the list."Choose me, choose me!"
"You are not in the mood for that sucker, read me instead."
Like Robin, I have two TBRs - a virtual TBR and a very real physical TBR (audible - 150 books / ebooks - 650 / physical books -approx 1350). Most of the physical books were published pre-2006, as I went on a bit of a library book sale spending spree that year. Most of the physical books are also still packed in boxes in the basement from my move a few years ago. So instead of saying "Read me, Seymour!" .... they are saying "Free me, Seymour!" But I also have a large pile of cross stitch WIPS (works in progress) and goals. So it's a matter of which pile screams louder LOL. Usually, I try to work on both my TBR and my WIP pile at the same time .... by stitching while I listen to an audiobook :-)
So far this year I have only read a whopping FIVE books from my TBR - and working on my sixth now.
I do hear complaints from several books on my kindle. They are all saying, 'Just sit down and finish me for pity's sake'. I've been very fickle ( or attention deficit) lately. I keep letting other pretty books lure me away from books that I've already started. I also get distracted by old favorites that lead me down familiar paths.
Some of my books are asking, “why did you ever acquire me anyway?” And the long books are saying, “ Ever since you got addicted to challenges, you pass us over in favor of short books!”
I think my TBR would compliment me, and tell me I am doing a very good job. I think it would tell me its not as diversified as it could be. Too much in certain areas like Tudors and WWII. I went to look for a book with a portal to another world and nothing showed up.... I think it would compliment me on how hard I am working to keep it in line, but would also tell me that perhaps there are somethings on there that I could potentially let go. Isn't every book worth reading? And yet, there probably could be some places I could trim....
