I think you can read them in any order, you'll just be very confused about what's going on with the main themes.

I have completed Philosopher's stone.So the philosophy is
"to the well organized mind, death is but the next adventure!"
You can read the series out of order but you can't experience their character development that well if you do so



First time reading the book, which I bought in the year of 2007.
Reading The Deathly Hollows first, instead of The Philosopher's Stone.
I can able get along with the story.
Now currently in Chapter 13 The Muggle-Born Registration Commission.
