Agree but she has a touch in every one. I too love Poirot as matchmaker - it's how you know that for all his fussiness and brilliance, he's a romantic at heart.

She did it again. There’s always a twist and I didn’t come close to guessing the real culprit. (Seriously, wasn’t there a BBC adaptation of this book that changed the culprit to a different character? I remembered a different bad guy.)
For all her twisty, inventive plots, I’ve never thought Christie was very good at love stories. I did enjoy Poirot as matchmaker. It makes him seem more human and adds humor to the story.
