Play Book Tag discussion

I had bought this book used because it mostly takes place in Paris and is set during the building of the Eiffel Tower. It turns out the author is Scottish, as is the main character Caitriona. She is chaperoning a young man and woman on a tour of the continent. It turns out the young people are harder to manage than Caitriona expected, and she herself is surprised to be attracted to an engineer in charge of the day-to-day assembly of the tower. There is a lot of local color about artists and socialites of the day, and the story has some twists and turns.
