Hey guys 👋

I'm new to this group, but I just had a random thought. How many books have you guys read this year? I think I've read about 20-50 (no cap), which ngl, is way less than the previous years. But, anyway just curious to hear your thoughts 😁

I’ve read 49 books so far this year. My goal was 50, so I’m sure I’ll surpass that. But here’s the thing, no matter how much I read, I always find myself craving more. 📚

Yeah, it's the same for me.

My original goal was 65. I’m currently at 79 read. ❤️📚

I just hit 317. I tend to get competitive with myself from the previous year.

91 audiobooks so far! My goal is 100 this year. If I reach that number, it would be a new high for me.

Fatima everyone has different life styles and responsibilities. Myself I am semi-retired so I have quite a bit of time to read.

For that reason I don't share my goals.

Just remember to be good to yourself and read when you can.

I've read 13..... my goal is 20 🙈🤞🏻

I’m disabled and unfortunately it gives me way too much free time. When I worked and was able to tend to my house more, my numbers were way down.

I really wanted to complete all the challenge badges goodreads made for this year, and while I read 53 books, it's still a long way to go to 70

To me it is quality, not quantity, and as has been mentioned in the thread here, we all read at different speeds, have different life styles and commitments, so I say compare your goals only to your own goals and abilities. I read a lot and often as I have the time to do so. I admit that I do like seeing other people's goals and previous achievements, but that is because I am rooting for them, but I do not, and never will, compare their stats to my own.

As of today I’m at 178…a lot more than I was thinking

My goal was 200. I’ve read 234 books so far.

I am at 161 and I was aiming for 150, so yay! Should be able to reach 175+!

Hiya all, I'm new to the group! I'm sitting at over 70 books! To the people over 100 I just don't know how you do it!!! 🤍

I think I maybe read 5 books this year 😂😭 I typically go in phases where I’ll binge the whole year reading then take a year off/slow my pace. I’m also currently 9 months pregnant so idk if that has affect my mental brain power to read.

68 books so far this year, goal was 50. I'm going to try for 100 next year! 🏅

26 so far (21 books in last 4 months)..goal is to end year at 32..

I’m at 123, with my Goodreads goal of 125, so I’m excited to see how many I get! I think I’ll try for 150 next year but that may be a stretch 😬 For people asking how to get so many in - I usually have a print book and an audiobook going at the same time (as in the same timeframe not literally at the same time 😛) and sometimes more than one print. It also helps that I read most of my books on Kindle, so everything super portable. My 3,700 + book collection and 180-some audiobook collection fits in my purse!

I’ve already completed my goal of 60 books, and I’m expecting to reach 62 by the end of the year.

Reading goal: 80 books — currently at 98 and aiming for the 100-book milestone! I’ve never read this many books in a year, and it’s all thanks to romantasy and fantasy, which I’ve been happily exploring all year long!
