25.5 - Nick KY's Task: Double Vision

This is a two book task. Read one book from two different options.
Required: State the options.

Option # 1
Read a book that contains at least TWO SETS of double letters (consecutive consonants or vowels) in the title, subtitle, and/or author’s name. Examples:
Intent to Kill by Amy Barnett 2 consecutive L’s in “Kill” (title), 2 consecutive T’s in Barnett (Author’s name)
The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire that Saved America by Timothy Egan 2 consecutive D’s in Teddy (subtitle), 2 consecutive O’s in Roosevelt (subtitle)
My Year with Meryl Streep: 52 Films in 52 Weeks by Brian Rowe 2 consecutive E’s in Streep (title), 2 consecutive E’s in Weeks (subtitle).

Option # 2
Read a book from this “Doubles” list (19 pages): https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...
The Book must meet SRC requirements. If a book is in a series, you may use any book in that series as your choice.
Required: State the page

Option # 3
Double up on Climate Change -- Read a book A or a Book B

A) A Second chance to read another book that fits task 5.2 Climate Change. “Climate change affects the Tundra of the world. Excess shrubs and the appearance of trees crowd out the ground and lakes are disappearing at an alarming rate.
Read a book with an MPG of Climate Change or Environment -- MPG may be stand alone or embedded.”

B) Read a book that is on this “Ecofiction” list: https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...
If a book is in a series, you may use any book in that series as your choice.

Be sure to post the books in order, Opt. 1 first, then opt. 2.

The mods also like a specific format. Opt. #, the a brief description of what the task calls for, then a link to the book and author, then how the book fits.

book 1 - The History of Bees is on pg 1 of the list - but I've read it and would like to read book 3 - which isn't on the list that i can find

Dear Dee,

I have written to a mod and hopefully the following will be added to Opt. 3.B. soon:

"If a book is in a series, you may use any book in that series as your choice."

Dee (austhokie) | 9045 comments thanks - i did manage to find the second book in the trilogy that i hadn't read yet - so i may go that route - but the third one is the one i'm most interested in
