My name is Peggy Dabney author of "Loving Jovie",(Book 1) a contemporary suspense novel from The Consequences series. I like writing not only about romance, but try to add some adventure and mystery to the mix. I'm currently working on "WHITE LIE", book 2 and the conclusion to this series. I'm not wild about continuing a series out for too long. I think readers get bored if a series is stretched out, with book after book, after book. I'm 3/4 done with WHITE LIE and it will go to editing soon.

Hi everyone, hope everyone is well.
My 4th novel that I just published this new year is my 1st romance-mystery novel. I wrote it way back when I wrote more character driven bildungsromanesque novels, all with a bit of romance. It comes under the clean and wholesome romance category. It's different from normal romances in many ways, the race of the protagonist for one, the background story that makes her what she is today, her age, her re-evaluation of her life...I wrote it when I was barely 20 and it was a what-if glimpse into a possible future...and the irony of it is I published it when I'm more or less the age of my protagonist, and have done a bit of what she has...this book is so much more than just a book now, as opposed to when I wrote it...funny how life works.
