Elena Alexandrescu | 885 comments November sits on the edge of things.
It’s the pause before winter, the last breath before endings, the soft hum of something fading but not quite gone.
It’s a month full of unfinished business, lingering questions, and the strange beauty of being almost there. And our mini comes on the last day of the month to show us that nothing is over until we decide it's done.

This mini is for the in-betweens — the stories that hover, drift, stretch, and gather themselves before the final act.

Sign-ups are open until December 31st, 2025
The challenge is open until February 28th, 2026

The Challenge
1. Please copy the tasks in the below message and post them in this thread. No new thread will be created.
2. This challenge is for 4 books. Pick one task from each round — for each completed task, you will receive 2 points. Additionally, you will receive 10 points for completing the challenge.
3. There are no skips available for this challenge.
4. Put the completion post below each book completed in your message:

5. If you don’t have a personal point account thread yet, please request one.
6. Only books completed from December 1st, 2025, will be accepted.

This month, let your reading live in the tension between almost and not yet. Here’s to unfinished thoughts, slow shifts, and the beauty of stories still becoming.
