Every year, I try to read even more books than I already do. Like, yeah, I read a lot, why not throw in some more?
Point is, each new year I try to make a resolution for a new book that I will finish by the end of the year. Sometimes it's a classic, sometimes it's short, sometimes it's really long and boring. But still, I try to cling onto that book and FINISH it, even if it turns out to be less good than expected. I've found this helps me stay with my other resolutions as well! (If you're a resolution person too, try this! It's fun!)
There's something poetic about making goals for yourself, trying to make the world a better place by improving, and reading and writing are always top goals of mine.
But this year, I want to do a classic for my book goal.
