Are there certain powers we're not allowed to have? I don't want to make my characters and then find out their powers aren't allowed after all. Thanks!

We haven't determined anything that Isnt allowed. Obviously nothing overly powerful. And if they have multiple "abilities" they all have to be within the same genera of one another. (like my character for example. She can manipulate ice and snow, and can also create it/drop the temp. All related to one amother)

Is there a maximum age for students?

18. They graduate at the same time as normal high schoolers (although if the situation were extreme, such as someone just coming into powers at an older age, there would be private classes for them to attend)

Will RP start when everyone's characters get approved?

The RP will start when we get more characters finished, hopefully by lots of different people. We may start making place threads before then, but we will let you know when everybody is allowed to begin RPing!

Can we have a character thread? Like approved characters?

I've got a character list I made for myself as a reference of taken names and superpowers (from what I've seen in everyone's character threads), but I'm not sure how useful that is?

Random super-nerdy question, what X-Men incarnation/universe are we using? Just like the basic universe? And is there the brotherhood? Does the public know about mutants? (I'm a comic book geek who knows X-Men, and I'm just wondering about the universe)

Yes! And yes they exist, mostly just for histories sake, so if you're make Magneto, you can definitely include the info

does that mean we can make our own brotherhood members? and can we make mutants in hiding? basically mutants that have somewhat control of their powers but hide them from society as they live amongst regular people and have nothing to do with the school? or maybe they went to the school and dropped out?

i just wanted to ask these before i made a character like one of these and it turns out i wasn't suppose to.

I would Prefer you keep them in relations with the school, just for roleplays purposes

Jokes aside, that's fine. I probably would too.

Pretty sure your powers can't be too unrelated (if you have more than one), you can't have more than four, and they have to have weaknesses! Also, as Geru said, not too overpowered. :) Mods have the final decision though, so if you want us to give you feedback on your powers before you finalise them, that's totally okay too!
