Wow. Five months of inactivity seems extremely short. Could there be other "undocumented" criteria that determine who is banned?
I actually figured that they were going to drop people after two months. In my original post about this, the fact that they were very vague made me think it was going to be an extremely short amount of time. I believe the reason for the change is that someone who doesn't stay up-to-date on the happenings here will make mistakes by trying to go by obsolete procedures. The policies aren't updated often, but when they do, wow. The cover one from April is a massive departure. I am surprised that the reinstatement wasn't automatic. I wonder if the test is using the old data points which, of course are no longer valid. That thing was never a good tool. It contradicted itself constantly.
With Otis doing an edit for the first time in over a year, it seems that even the highest level wouldn't have been immune.
I'll look into this - Philipp I've reinstated your status.

a month or longer ago my librarian status got removed due to inactivity. I reapplied again and passed the exam too but haven't gotten any information about the status since. Can someone help?
Thank you :)
