Share and discuss book ideas for Task 9: Read a romantasy book with a queer and/or BIPOC main character

Even though I read romance and I read fantasy and I cut my teeth on a lot of paranormal romance (some of which would likely be classed as romantasy today), I haven't really read romantasy. I've been curious to try though, so this is a good push!

I'll be paying attention to suggestions, but I do have a few ideas of things to read. Song of Blood & Stone by L. Penelope is one I have a copy of, so it may be what I go for first. Tasha Suri has been high up on my tbr, so I would also be really interested in reading The Jasmine Throne, Empire of Sand, or The Isle in the Silver Sea for this task. I've also been really curious about Can't Spell Treason Without Tea by Rebecca Thorne. I'm also a big fan of Talia Hibbert, and she has her debut romantasy novel set to be released in 2026, The Last Thorn.
