A lucky few novels get optioned by a book lover who envisions a movie or tv-series from the story and characters and champions an author’s work to get adapted, casted, produced. Some of the book-to-movie adapted productions get the highest accolades as award shows nominees and winners celebrated as the best adapted screenplay. As readers, we form our own ideas of what each character might look like or get frustrated when key plot/character arcs are tweaked, right?
