So goodreads keeps recomending me books by this guy: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

based on Terry Pratchett's books I've read. Anyone read any of his books, are they worth a try? The reviews on his books look a bit mixed...

I read chocolate hollow bunnies, but I think Tom Holts Portable Door was better, I can't remember if that's the first or second in that series though.

his stuff is very good; his later books are better thought

Any specific books from him I should give it a go first?

start with the Cornelius Murphy trilogy: The Book of Ultimate Truths, Raiders of the Lost Car Park & The Most Amazing Man Who Ever Lived

then move onto A Dog Called Demolition, Nostradamus Ate My Hamster and finally The Dance of the Voodoo Handbag (all 3 are stand alone-ish books)

Finally try the Brentford series but start with Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls
