I kept reading and expecting that at some point a metaphor would become apparent. I gave up close to the end. Not a book I would recommend.

I try to grab all of Coelho's books when I see them. Totally disappointed with this one. I didn't see any point to the story at all. Definitely not a book of his I would recommend, either.
