I snagged this book off the shelf at the library - the cover caught my eye, and the blurb on the back sounded interesting. Also, and I won't lie - this is a very short book so I knew I could knock out this category quickly.
The blurb on the back: "High-octane paranoia deranges a writer and fuels a dangerous plan to return home at the tail end of El Salvador's long civil war"
Well, there was some paranoia. And the writer was a bit deranged, but not overly so. I expected that this book would be a little bit weirder than it was. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that great either.
