I was just curious. would any of you consider reading along with an audio book cheating?... I've always liked reading along with a book when someone else read it to me, it actually got me through a book faster. I know sounds weird but I like it. so what do you guys think??

I listen to audio books while at work and include some of them toward my reading challenge. I believe reading along with audio is not cheating because your mind has to pay attention to the story the same as if no audio was included.
I agree. I appreciate listening with my Kindle as I crochet. I use a headset so, no one is bothered. Also when I've read classics or books that might have larger words or foreign languages, the ability to have an audio advantage is nice. Most times, however, when I do sit with a good book I truly enjoy the written word. There is something about the musky odor and feel of an actual book.
