How do you deal with the deaths of a character you loved?

I don't

I cry. And then I force myself to admit that it just a book and read another one. :]

I break down and die an don't ever recover

I couldn't handle those, at least a day, I would cry but once mentioned again, I'll rant.

Oh I don't know how I cope, but it usually includes a lot of crying

One day I think a book is going to kill me over the deaths of characters as well as the fact that it was so damn good

yell at whoever killed them even though they are not there

And I also use it in the books I write

I like this kind of stories where characters die
but I like when them die to make the book more interesting and not when the author kill them to try to make you cry
I hate when authors kill characters to try to make you cry... I found it... pitiful? Nah... Not that; maybe tasteless, with bad taste... idk how to explain it...
but I've never cried because of a character's death

I cry like in Allegiant.Then i hide in bed for about a day.then i refuse to read other books.then eventually is get out of bed and go to the author and demand they make another book.if they say no i tie them to a chair and threaten to kill them unless they make another book where the person magically come to life again they also have to make a new character in the book called JULIET after me

sometimes when it is so bad i die like literally DIE
