nothin, its just catholic and baptist veiws are totally upside down. No effence. I have a great friend whoes catholic and some of her beliefes are very different from what I am taught. Like ash wendnesday for example. Baptist don't believe in that, they don't do it. And the Lord's supper we do it ever quarter and Easter.

im sayin that how can i choose bewteen them so ive decided to do wat they want me to do now but later in my lyf i'll just believe in Christ alone

Its really what you believe deep down in your heart. Every one has a different opinion. That's why there is so many different religions out there. If we all agreed on everything then life itself would be totally boring. That's hard to pick a side, I guess go with the one that you really believe in the most

I agree on math. I don't know what to say. Maybe just go with one you think is the most suitible for you and that doesn't work then go with the other. ur welcome:-) I found it out when I was reading a christian magazine called EC. Its a like a regular magazine but it has daily devotions and its christian. Right now they are doing an on going study of different religions. Sept. was Islam, Oct was Wicca, this month its Mormon. And what its about is it compares their religion and the christian beliefs. And how you can reach out to them.

don't worry I didn't realize it either but I've heard stories *Shudders* and my friend is considering to convert to it. I am very against it. Not because its anti christian its just I've heard too many scary stories about demonic presents summoned becuase of Wiccians. I don't care about your religion its how you act. But understand that I'll be there for you and try to help you in every way I can humanly possibly do so. If you have any other qs about that Joshua, just ask, I'll try to answer it. If not I'll ask my pastor on the next commin up Sunday. (No effence to the Wiccan's out there.)

By the way, I should warn everyone now...I'll say my real opinion about everything and everyone. And sometimes, I sound way bitchier than I mean to...I usually don't mean them that way, but people get offended. So try to ask me what I mean before you get offended!!!

Oh k, I didn't want to offend u and I wanted to make that clear.
To me God and Jesus are two different people but they are both still God, Jesus was his fist and only son. And he was a son to a virgin woman name Mary. (reason why I am saying this is because Geoff has different opinions that make no sense. That if u live a sinless life (even though that is impossible for man. I know its in the bible somewhere) you can be just like Jesus. U can't be like him until u a) accept him as Lord and Christ and b) die and go to heaven.

I know I don't know where he got that idea. And its hopelessly to try to convince him either wise. He is very very hard headed. But that doesn't mean I still try on him and I try to live my life they way I am think I should live a life of Christ but its hard in today's socity, with all this evil and sin. At times I wish I lived in the past but then I think of the things I'll miss for one thing its the computer and my type of music.

well in the bible it says that there will be a great falling away from the church and that people that don't have I think gold and silver will starve or was it their own food supply? Something like that but it really sounds like what is happening right now. This is worse than the great depression back in the 1930s. And rumors are flying that the anti christ is here. Which I don't doubt but there are 7 seals that we have to go through before the apolicpse I think. I have to read Revalations again. That and don't forget the mark of the beast. And that when the anti christ comes he'll have world domination to all religions and everone (exept those who are christians) will think he's the real Christ which we all know it isn't.

I was raised Methodist, but at this point there's just too much that doesn't make sense in the Christian faith as a whole to me, and while I think there MIGHT be a god, the Christian one certainly isn't the one I want to believe exists. I really want to believe that there is a loving, basically good god in charge of the universe, and any god that condones the rape, murder and enslavement of innocent people like the Christian one does in the Old Testament is certainly not loving or good in my book. Still, I simply can' t believe that there's a higher power anywhere. Or if there is, it obviously doesn't care.
I haven't told my mom yet about my beliefs because I think she'd be disappointed.

It's surpisingly freeing to not believe in a god. It's like the scary old man with lightning who would zap you if you messed up isn't there- it's me who regulates my own actions. Why don't I steal/murder/covet? Not because I'm afraid of heavenly reprecussions, but because it's morally wrong and causes problems. It's a system of self-accountability and I like it alot.

I believe in no god, I do however they're was a man named jesus that walked the Earth but he was not the son of god. Bc they're is no god. We were not created by some imaginary figure. Jesus was a man that was a so called "messiah or Prophet(sorry can't spell)" Sin is a thing of what you believe it to be. Lust I do not believe its a sin bc its merely a human function. Greed is not bc what man does not want to propser in life. Murder however is a Sin and should not be commited for no cause. I have more to say I am just lazy to put it on here bc it would take me days to type.

Nah, I don't bash people for what they believe. There's alot of prejudice against Mormons, though- that must be hard sometimes.

No, I don't bash it unless it's hateful or abusive to people. The main Mormon church isn't- it's just the spinoff fundamentalist branches that are fricking nuts. Most people don't make the distinction.

well there's the regular texan baptist and then there's the southern texan baptist its what they (your church believes in. Apperantly Texan Baptist can't agree on some things. Oh well) IDK I just know somehtings because I hang out with our pastor between the morning services and night services because our preacher and us live too far away to go home between the times. If we go home we just have to turn around and go back.

I'm not being rude or anything I'm just wondering, how are Jehovah's Witnesses considered Christians if they don't celebrate Easter or Christmas, any holiday or birthdays?

(any Jehovah witnesses please correct me if I am wrong) I think it is because they do believe the word of God with all their heart and they do to preach from the bible.

Christian Stand Point: What they do is good reaching out to the lost only thing they are missing is excepting Jesus as their Lord and savior. That is what I heard from my pastor.
