Since he was a kid magical creatures of all kinds would come to him to tell him stories of some sort or another. With the help of these creatures, he managed to stay alive in the streets of the capital of Alterra, where he met Saria. Eventually he was introduced to the previous Creature Keeper by a helpful Faerie. He has been Creature Keeper since he was eighteen, and is completely lost in the world of magical beings
