A Deadly Web by Kay Hooper, First Evidence by Ken Goddard (a new author for me) and finishing Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I didn't care much for part one of the book, part two is better. Overall I'm not finding the book that interesting.
Eclectic Book Club just read The Good Father by Noah Hawley. This novel is one of the psychological suspense picks in KitKeeper. Eclectic as a whole endorses this novel as a thought-provoking look at the parents of a political assassin. Noah Hawley weaves in reflections of the most notorious shootings in modern times as the parents in The Good Father struggle to understand their son's behavior. Great suspense pick with timely connections to the 2015 trials of the Boston Marathon Bomber and the Colorado theater shooter.
I finished First Family by David Baldacci. I started out listening to the audiobook but they changed readers and I didn't like the new reader. Finished by reading the print version. Voices in my head sometimes sound better. :)
