Jasmine (pikakejazz) Totally am going to read this one once I get around to the "True Story" challenge!

Erica | 214 comments I'm going to read this for the "book turned into a movie" week (I joined late and am slowly catching up). I have a couple of books to read first. Looking forward to seeing what you think!

Alina | 63 comments This was an amazing story! Not something I normally would read but so glad I did. It was definitely one of my all-time favorites.

Krysta (booksaremyfavthing) | 115 comments I'm reading this one for this week too.

Jasmine (pikakejazz) So late, I know, but I FINALLY started reading this one. Kind of cheated and watched the movie first, so I am hoping that the book won't be hard to get through for me.

Jasmine (pikakejazz) And now I finally finished! Hurray for me! :)

Being half-Japanese and having such a love for Japan, I had a hard time reading about Mutsuhiro Watanabe and the POW camps. But, what an amazing and inspiring story! I know this one will stick with me for a long time.

My "official" review here.
