Any Daphne Du Maurier fans out there? discussion

Check this out, a new series coming out with Daphne being our own grown up Nancy Drew like detective,



Love the cover. Library has it on order so I'm going to give it a whirl.

You'll have to let me know about this one.
It seems like cheating to tap into all of the D du M fans with a book like this. And given that much of her life is already so interesting it seems like maybe there's going to be a bit of a conflict there...I don't think I can do these. You'll have to let me know what you think.

I know how you feel, there are a few D du M knock offs out there, although not nearly as bad as the Austen ones. I've avoided them so far but I'm willing to try one.

BTW, Sarah at Reading the Past says she's reading it right now and will be posting a review around release date time. You might keep an eye out there for her opinion as well.
