Cody I thought that this book was very good. It took me nearly 3 months to read it and understand it. Good book overall, and it was very intriguing.

Josh Jordan VERY good book. A real page turner for me. I just had to know what was going to happen next at times! :P Lots of characters as with many Clancy books, but not really a problem for me. I picked it up used for $3 in pretty much perfect condition. Found out later it was a first edition so that made it even better. :)

Richard I agree. I have read most of Tom Clancy's books and I think this is the best. If you liked this read Cardinal of the Kremlin. It's a cold war spy thiller.

Gus This is one of my favorite Clancy books. Fantastic page turner. I found myself able to relate to all of the characters. Just a thoroughly enjoyable read. If you like this book, you should check out The Gray Man by Mark Greaney. He's relatively new but has written three books in the series (I loved all of them) and now has a book out with Tom Clancy called Locked-On, but I haven't read it yet. Will do a review after I do though.

Bob I really like Tom Clancy's books. His early novels were written during the cold war so were primarily USA vs. USSR and these were great. His post-cold war novels have not been as great. And, he has written a number of books "co-authored" with others that are clearly not his style. He has also written several non-fiction accounts of war, weapons and weapon systems, etc.

Paul This book needs a movie!

Darren William Kyle I loved about 60% of Rainbow Six. The experiment portion of the book was utterly boring and I felt it dragged the rest of the book down every time it reared it's head.

Agreed !

Greg Rumpel My favourite Clancy book by far !

William I liked this over a lot of Clancy's early work, because it didn't go in to too much detail to build the reason for the end of the book. There was action from the beginning, rather than build up on top of build up on top of build up to get to the action. Although, Clancy educates his reader in that build up, and that can be worth it.

And yes, there needs to be a movie.
