By A Thread, Lucy Score is an underated grumpy boss rom com. There's smut but it's not too bad, 3.5/5 in spice. It's a standalone and absolutely hilarious.

ahh i dont really like the author tbh :'/ i tried reading things we never got over and it bored me to death. plus i dont like the 40yr old romance because most authors, besides elsie silver for me, portray them so bad!! i added it to my list tho to give it a try, thank u <33

I just got done reading Hexed by Emily Mclntire and i couldn't put it down, a slow burn but the chemistry between the two characters is well done, and witty banter was spot on. not as much smut as the ritual which is also a great read.
