Looking forward to the coming christmas trip to see my inlaws, there is a great used book store in winston salem that I go to whenever I am there. Lots of shopping.
4 new Starfist novels and a Force Recon novel probably not big on anyone elses list but I am excited. Also started reading a series called the Night Angels series, first book is called The Way of Shadows. I can't put this down it has action adventure romance and some vivid characters all set in the middle of nasty intrigue and power struggles I highly reccomend this one for fantasy fans.
YAY! for Christmas I got books-a-million gift cards and got all but one of the Gregor the Overlander books and the first two Percy Jacksons. I also got a really good one on Marie Anntoinette. Plus (I know it's not a book... ) I got two computer games, Chocolatier and Ranch Rush. Very fun!
For Christmas I got The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead, The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, and The Friday Night Knitting Club.
I didn't get any books for Christmas this year :( So I went out and bought myself the Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes Volume I & II by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Loving it so far. And now it seems I am on a mystery kick.
Sounds awesome. I loved the Sherlock Holmes movie. Has anyone else seen it?
I need to go back to Barnes and Noble, because we are supposed to read Romeo and Juliet for school soon and There was the complete volume of Shakespeare for less than 10 dollars.
Nice! You should totally get it. I re-read Romeo and Juliet last year and loved it! For some reason I thought it was boring in high school... tsk tsk. =D
Was going through the guest room and found a book that I got for christmas that has to go on my to read list. My brother and sister in law gave me Blackbeard, A tale of villainy and murder in colonial america.Even cooler, signed by the author.
Oh that's awesome! I would love to have a book signed by the author. Sounds like an interesting book as well. :)
