Pumpkin Bread
3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp . Cloves
1 c. corn oil 1 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs ( beaten) 1 tsp. nutmeg
1 lb. (2c) can pumpkin 1 tsp allspice
3 1/2 c. flour 2/3 c. water
1 tsps baking powder 1/2 c. nuts
3 taps salt
Combine sugar, Oil and eggs,
Add pumpkin. sift together dry ingradients and add
pumpkin mixture.
Add water pour into loaf pans and Bake 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours
3 loaves. can also be made in 2-lb.
Coffee cans and 3 1 lb. pumpkin cans. Fill cans half
full grease well first
30 mins for mini pans .
this recipe came from newspaper. I don't know who made this recipe. we used this for years.
